Questions shop owners ask
Do I need special hardware?
No. Makhzan runs in the browser on a computer, tablet or phone. Any barcode scanner or receipt printer that works with your computer works with Makhzan.
Can I import my products?
Yes. Import products, customers and suppliers from a CSV or Excel file, with opening stock for each warehouse.
Does it follow my country's tax rules?
Currency, tax rates, prices with or without tax and the legal identifiers on invoices come from your country, including the ZATCA QR code in Saudi Arabia. You can adjust every setting.
What if the internet goes down?
Makhzan is a web app and needs a connection to record a sale. It installs like an app on your devices and picks up where you left off when the connection returns.
Can staff have limited access?
Yes. Cashiers see the till, storekeepers see stock and purchasing, accountants see invoices and reports. Cost prices stay hidden from roles that don't need them.
What happens after the free trial?
